Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites, content, newsletters, and subscription services offered by Ideological Systems Analytics, LLC (“ISA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including isainsights.com (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, or by subscribing, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

ISA is operated by Ideological Systems Analytics, LLC, a Virginia limited liability company. You can reach us at contact@isainsights.com or by mail at P.O. Box 1084, Purcellville, VA 20134, USA.

2. The Service

ISA publishes ideological intelligence analysis, including event briefs, data and scoring, storyline tracking, and email updates. Some content is available free; other content and features are available only to paid subscribers. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

3. Accounts and sign-in

Account access uses a one-time email sign-in link (a “magic link”). You are responsible for maintaining control of the email address associated with your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You agree to provide accurate information and to use the email address you control. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

4. Subscriptions, billing, and our payment provider

Paid subscriptions are sold by Ideological Systems Analytics, LLC. Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe (Stripe, Inc.), a United States company. When you purchase a subscription, Stripe handles payment and card processing, and your payment is also subject to Stripe’s terms. We do not receive or store your full payment card details. Applicable sales tax may be added at checkout where required.

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (for example, monthly) at the price shown at checkout, and renew automatically until cancelled. We may change subscription prices on a going-forward basis with reasonable notice; changes do not affect the period you have already paid for.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You may cancel at any time, and your access continues through the end of the current paid period. Refund eligibility is described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is part of these Terms.

6. Acceptable use and license

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to access ISA content for your own use. You may not redistribute, resell, republish, scrape, or use automated means to extract paid content, nor share account access to circumvent subscription limits. You may not use the Service unlawfully or in a way that harms the Service or other users.

7. Intellectual property

All content, analysis, scoring, software, and design on the Service are owned by ISA or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. “Ideological Systems Analytics,” “ISA,” and the ISA logo are trademarks of Ideological Systems Analytics, LLC. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership to you.

8. No professional advice; disclaimers

ISA provides analysis and information for general informational purposes only. It is not financial, investment, legal, tax, or other professional advice, and you should not rely on it as such. The Service and all content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or accurate.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ISA and its members, officers, and contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will survive.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above, and material changes will take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law and intended users

The Service is offered from and directed to users in the United States. It is not offered or marketed to residents of the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with your local laws.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Virginia, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
