What makes ISA different from other political analysis?
ISA doesn't do opinion or horse-race coverage. We score every political event against a structured framework of ideological systems, measuring what actually changed in the balance of institutional power — not who “won” the news cycle.
Is ISA partisan? Do you promote a particular ideology?
No. ISA does not support any political party, candidate, or cause, and we do not promote a particular ideology. We apply the same framework to every side and aim to treat the competing ideological systems even-handedly. Where the facts are clear we report them plainly, even when they're inconvenient for one camp; where a dispute is about values rather than facts, we map the collision rather than tell you who is right. The goal is honest, factual analysis of the ideas in play, so you can draw your own conclusions.
How often is new analysis published?
New events are scored continuously as they occur. Full analytical briefs are published multiple times per week, and storyline tracking briefs are updated as multi-event arcs develop.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?
Yes. You can change your subscription tier at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately and downgrades apply at the end of your current billing period.
What's the difference between Insider and Professional?
Insider gives you full access to all published briefs and analysis — delivered via email and readable on the website. Professional adds the full analytical platform: interactive dashboards, scored event browser, storyline tracking, actor profiles, custom alerts, and raw scoring data.
Is there a free trial for the platform?
We don't currently offer a free trial, but our public briefs and State of Play page give you a strong sense of the analysis quality. If you're considering an Organization plan, we're happy to arrange a walkthrough.
